David Arku Consultancy Ltd (DAC) provides health and safety training, occupational health services and concierge medical services. We are an approved IOSH study centre (Centre 1001) delivering the IOSH Level 3 Certificate.

• Education and work information: education level, job role, industry and safety qualifications.

• Payment information: online payments are processed by Paystack. We receive confirmation of your payment, but we never see or store your full card details.

Sensitive Information

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as health data or religious beliefs) through our website. If sensitive information is needed for occupational health services, we will always ask for your explicit consent.

How We Collect Your Data

• Through forms on our website, such as course applications, contact, newsletter and payment forms.
• When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, or ask for information about our services.
• When you use our services, including our learning portal.
• Through training assessments, including feedback from your tutors and instructors.

How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• process applications, manage enrolments and administer course payments;
• deliver learning resources, assessments and exam information, and issue results and certificates;
• meet the requirements of accrediting and awarding bodies such as IOSH;
• provide customer support and keep your records accurate and up to date;
• monitor and record communications to support customer service, quality and compliance;
• manage events and workshops you register for, and capture photos or videos at DAC events (with appropriate notice);
• send you updates and marketing about courses, services and opportunities, but only if you have opted in;
• improve our training, occupational health services, website and processes, including research into learner needs;
• train our staff and carry out quality assurance; and
• manage, audit and account for our operations, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data because:

• it is necessary to deliver the services you have asked for (contract);
• we are required to by law;
• we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our services;
• you have given your consent (for example, to receive marketing updates), which you can withdraw at any time; or
• it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Sharing Your Data

We may share your data with:

• accrediting and awarding bodies, such as IOSH;
• service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and IT providers, our payment processor (Paystack) and our website analytics provider (Google); and
• regulators or authorities, where the law requires it.

We will never sell or trade your personal data.

Third-Party Data

If you give us someone else’s details (for example, as a referral), you must make sure you have their permission to do so.

International Transfers

Some of our service providers and accrediting bodies are based outside Ghana. When your data is transferred internationally, we make sure it is protected by recognised safeguards.

We store your information securely and restrict access to authorised personnel. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet IOSH and other legal or regulatory record-keeping requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it securely.
